Navigating our Faith Journey
We are finding ways to navigate the path of faith and life together. On Sunday mornings we are creating opportunities for people to freely explore questions of faith, and to more deeply connect with one another.
While we certainly engage the Bible, we may have a more unconventional approach. Instead of “Sunday School” or lectures or a class, we are creating space for conversations, experiences, and even adventures for all ages. Most of the time we will have age-appropriate groups exploring together each week. Some times we will share an experience together as a more complete reflection of the whole community of God. Our desire is to equip people of all ages and diverse faith experiences to navigate your own faith journey while freely sharing with others.
Currently the 9:30 time of Faith Formation includes:
- First Steps: for toddlers – pre-Kindergarten
- Explorers: for elementary age children (usually divided into younger and older groups)
- Two groups for youth and adults: Bible Study and Cafe Conversations
As we grow we will offer a separate youth group.
In Summer 2011, we will also begin some Sunday evening groups for youth and adults.
