Aline Silva-Schreiner is a young CREATE scholar at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Aline has lived in the United States for nine years now. Her intentions upon arrival from Brazil was to learn English and go to medical school. Those plans changed, however, when she began to experience God’s call upon her life to become a minister. As it was, she changed her major from pre-Med to religious studies during the second semester of her Sophomore year at KU. At the same time she met the love of her life, Andy. They have been married for almost two years now. Aline plans to pastor and her husband plans on doing missionary work. Together they plan on working with missional churchs locally and around the globe.
